Our Nature Based Retreats are where you can reconnect with yourself and the natural world. We offer a unique opportunity to step away from the hustle of daily life and immerse yourself in the tranquillity of nature.
Why nature based retreats?
We can learn so much through spending time in a natural environment. Away from technology and an endless to-do list, sitting by the campfire and walking amongst the trees, you’ll pay attention to all your senses. Being outdoors is a wonderful learning environment.

What to expect
Our retreats go deeper than a Nature Awareness Day and are less intense than a Vision Quest. They last 3 days and 2 nights. You will be wild camping, so bring a tarp or a small tent.
We meet Friday at 3pm for introductions and tea around the fire.
There is guidance, nature-based activity, and time just to be during your stay in the wood.
Departure is Sunday afternoon.
Bespoke retreats
We offer customised retreats for individuals or small groups. Contact us to discuss your needs and create a tailored experience. For example, you may prefer to extend your time to include a 24-hour solo, time spent alone without a tent (tarp can be supplied). You may want something created for your small group.
About your guide
Dr. Denise Taylor is a qualified Wilderness Rites of Passage Guide with a doctorate in psychology and over 30 years of experience supporting individuals. Her unique blend of academic knowledge and practical experience creates an environment well suited for personal growth and transformation.
