Hi, it’s Dr Denise down at the wood and it’s a while since I’ve done one of my videos. I just needed to get away, away from home technology. I’ve also not been feeling 100%, and they always say go out and get some fresh air. So, I thought, well, why not drive to my wood? And it’s a beautiful day.
It’s sunny. And as I got out of the car, I thought it was raining because of the noise and it wasn’t, it was just the leaves shaking, letting me know that they’re there because obviously it’s autumn and things are changing, things are changing.
I’ve been out looking at mushrooms. I have in the past found a few Fly Agaric ones, you know, the ones from Alice in Wonderland, the red with the white spots, and I’ve been searching. Can I find any? No, No, I can’t, but that’s okay, because I think part of just wandering around was, was just quite nice.
I think I’ve done enough now, so I’m going to go home, and why am I doing this message? My message for today is that sometimes you just need to change your surroundings to get out of your normal place to give you a new way of thinking.
And sometimes it’s just to actually switch off. I do find I get my best thoughts when I’m swimming or just walking around the wood. When I actually give my brain a chance to relax. Because honestly, our brains are just so full. There’s just so much going on. There’s just so much input.
Sometimes you just want to let it ride, just see what happens.
Until next time, it’s Dr Denise Taylor, down at the wood, with a short woodland conversation. Bye
